Welcome to Defined Body Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website located at definedbodystudio.ca (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable Canadian laws and regulations. You may not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality or interfere with others’ use.

2. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software—is the property of Defined Body Studio or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Purchases & Payments (If Applicable)
If you purchase products or services through the Site:

• Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise
• You agree to provide valid payment information
• All sales may be subject to applicable Canadian taxes

Refunds and returns are governed by our Refund Policy, if applicable.

5. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these sites. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted

Where permitted by Canadian law, we disclaim all warranties.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, we are not liable for any damages arising from:

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

8. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA or provincial equivalents).

9. Consultation Fee Policy

A non-refundable $50 consultation fee is required to schedule and secure your appointment.
This fee covers the time spent reviewing your goals, medical considerations (if applicable), treatment planning, and developing a personalized body-contouring or post-operative care plan.
The consultation fee is not a deposit toward treatment services unless otherwise stated during your appointment.

10. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Consultation fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to additional charges at the studio’s discretion.
• Missed (“no-show”) appointments will result in the forfeiture of the consultation fee.
• Rescheduling must be completed at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
• Packages, service fees, and treatments are non-refundable once services have begun.
• In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical situations), Defined Body Studio may allow a reschedule at its discretion.

11. Consultation Fee Disclaimer

The $50 consultation fee is non-refundable and is used solely to secure your appointment and cover evaluation time. 

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately when posted on the Site. Continued use signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that province.

The services provided by Defined Body Studio are non-medical and non-surgical body-contouring and post-operative care treatments. These services do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions and are not a substitute for medical advice.

Clients are responsible for consulting their healthcare professional prior to receiving any service, especially following recent surgery or if they have underlying medical conditions.

All before-and-after images displayed on our website or social platforms are used with full client consent.

Clients may choose whether their photos are used publicly, used anonymously, or not used at all. No images are shared without written permission.
